Looks like we’re headed into a lovely weekend and might to be able to experience the cool feel of fall for the first time in what feels like forever. Needless to say, I’m here for it. This was a rough summer for farmers, especially those working in the fields all day. The heat is draining for everyone and is hard on the garden and crops as well. So, getting some cooler evenings and sleeping with the windows open is a welcome gift from Mother Nature. This market will be the perfect time to start stocking up on the last of the summer goodies to enjoy throughout the winter.
The bell rings at 9am, at the corner of Sioux Avenue and Coteau Street. We hope to see you there!
Looks like we’re going to have a beautiful day for the first market of September. Be sure to spend part of your Labor Day Saturday shopping for all the produce, sweet treats, and baked goods you’ll need for your long weekend, and then spend the rest of the weekend enjoying the bounty of local products you picked up! We will also have handmade personal care items, and hand-bound books for your enjoyment.
New vendor alert: Kristi’s Sweets & Treats will be joining us, showcasing sweet treats, baked goods and breads! Be sure to stop by and check her out.
Note: Hanisch Farms has large quantities of canning tomatoes available. Please call/text/email to place an order. We will NOT be at market next weekend as I (Tiffany) am getting married!
