Yay! Venner Farm is back on Saturday. Denise has freshly ground wheat flour from their organic wheat berries. She’s also bringing some of her amazing cookies, bars, and quick breads. Many of her items freeze really well. Ask her what you can freeze for future weekends curled up on your couch, watching a holiday movie, sipping hot cocoa, and eating something sweet and delicious.
Try these oh-so-yummy homemade pot stickers over the long weekend. You’ll love them! Grab the cabbage and carrots from B&G Produce. Also, be sure to pick up your favorite rustic bread, buttermilk biscuits, and hummus as this is the last weekend for these flavors!
As a reminder, Hanisch Farms will be here for our last market next weekend (November 18). They will have whole turkeys, sales on all ham products, eggs, and other holiday meats available. Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! Buy your local meat now for both of these special days!!
