Capital City Farmers’ Market – Saturday, October 28 – 9am-noon

Wind, wind go away. Come again…well, maybe just go away. It is a fierce wind today. I’m so thankful it is from the North and our tree belt is protecting the high tunnel. Yikes!

Brewbirds is joining us again this week! I’m excited to try something else from their menu and also to have something to keep my hands warm on Saturday. We tried a Mocha as well as their Chai last weekend. Both were yummy!

BLC Ranch is back this weekend with their warm and wonderful wool products. My favorite item is my wool cowl. I just slip it over my head and it keeps my neck incredibly warm. I absolutely LOVE it!

As we near the end of the season, you’ll start to see a lot of “last of the season” notes. Be sure to get those items when you can. This will be the last weekend to pick up some of the flavors of Rustic Bread as well as Buttermilk Biscuits. Both of these freeze beautifully. I think the Aged White Cheddar Sage biscuits would be awesome alongside your Thanksgiving dinner! Also, this is the last weekend for the Herbed Artichoke Hummus, so be sure to get yours on Saturday!

This will be the last weekend to pick up pumpkins! All pumpkin sales on Saturday will be donated to Paws Animal Rescue, so be sure to stop down and support a worthy (and furry) cause.

As a market, we accept credit cards and EBT. Shop all the vendors and pay once before you leave! Stop at the Market Manager booth to start the process and have fun shopping.
