** The market in Fort Pierre has been cancelled tonight due to rain. B&G Produce and Venner farm are going to sell their items tomorrow (Wednesday) night from 5-7pm. I will update with a location shortly. **
This is going to be a great market and I apologize in advance for all of the exclamation points…but they are needed! It’s that good! Live country music, wagon rides, fundraising meal by St John’s Catholic Church, stick horse decorating, and stick horse barrel racing!! Plus, all the other goodness you’ve come to expect including delicious produce, baked goods, and farm to table products from the farmers’ market vendors, fun activities, and a paddleboat cruise on the Sunset with live music! Check out more details below.
B&G Produce will have their amazing Blue Cheese Walnut Pesto. Try this grilled cheese for something different and awesome! Here’s a great idea for Swiss chard. This cheesy gratin is comforting and delicious. Also, be sure to pick up your grilling vegetables! We love zucchini, summer squash, onions, eggplant, and bell peppers!
Finish everything off with something sweet from Venner Farm. I’m heading over to try her new Apple Strudel!
As a market, we accept credit cards and EBT. Shop all the vendors and pay once before you leave! Stop at the Market Manager booth to start the process and have fun shopping.
