Market – Saturday, August 13

Cantaloupe

This week is National Farmers’ Market Week. Please take a few minutes to read our Vendor Profiles and learn a little bit more about the people making and growing the food you buy at market. A few more still to come this season, so keep watching. We all appreciate your continued support. Without customers, we wouldn’t exist. Stop down, have a chat, and pick up some of the abundant bounty this weekend!

The Weinheimer Kids will be at market this weekend selling their non-GMO Vision sweet corn! It is super sweet and ready to eat! The kids paid for the seeds themselves and will be selling it to you on Saturday. Great time to stock up as they will have a lot of it for you!

GOAL (Greater Oahe Action League) will be at market this weekend. They will be displaying art pieces from the Lexicon of Sustainability Pop Up Show. This traveling art exhibit is being shown around the nation. The various mixed media pieces talk about sustainability, food, the people growing your food, and much more.

Forget your cash? No problem. We now take credit cards and EBT. It will show up as one transaction for all the items you buy. Stop at the Market Manager booth to start the process and have fun shopping!
