Market – Saturday, August 9

I just found out that a friend from the past was in a terrible accident a couple days ago. He was able to make the decision to remove himself from life support and passed away today. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Knowing him, he would want us all to remember to make each moment count. Take it all in. Love each second.

There’s really no appropriate transition into my farmers’ market email, so we’ll just jump right in. It’s going to be a fun weekend! Great vendors and a wide assortment of items (24 types of produce!) will be available. I mentioned the cult following of fava beans. The same can be said for kohlrabi. Well, it’s coming this weekend! Finally.
